Hello, I am using MO with the 4gb launcher plus NVSE and everything works fine. I want to use the Eremotherium ENB but I cannot for the life of me get it to work. I have tried the wrapper version, and putting the.dll file in the 'exes' folder that the 4gb launcher creates, and nothing.

Fallout 3 Fallout New Vegas Enb

It doesn't give me a message at launch, saying that ENB is running. When putting the enb dll file in the main folder, even though it's supposed to go in the exes folder with the 4gb launcher, it gives me a message that ENB is running yadda yadda. But it doesn't actually work ingame at all, it doesn't seem to 'detect' any ENB presets I have installed.I have tried the injector version, and adding both fnv4gb.exe and FalloutMO.exe (those two exe's seem to be running when I launch FNV) and it gives me a message it's running, but in-game, nothing.I've been ripping out my hair for an hour now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'll try to help. I'm going to go step-by-step, so I apologize if at any point it seems patronizing. I also apologize in advance if my advice doesn't help.It seems to me from reading the comments that you're trying to install this preset for ENBoost v203.

Let's clean the slate first, and install everything properly using up-to-date versions of ENB.First off, clean out ENB and ENBoost from wherever any of their files are installed. Just completely uninstall ENBoost for now. We're going to get ENB without a preset working before you add a preset. Now, make sure you are using the stock updated version of the 4gb loader, no 'enb-variant' or anything like that. Make sure that in MO it still has the augment '-laaexe.FalloutMO.exe', and make sure that the game is launching through said FalloutMO.exe.Download the most recent ENB version here:. There will be a ton of files here, but only extract the following: 'd3d9.dll', 'enblocal.ini', 'enbseries.ini', and 'enbhost.exe'. Place these files in the New Vegas install directory, and make a COPY of d3d9.dll to put in the exes folder.

Rundll error at startup windows 10. Have it exist in both places, it probably won't hurt anything. This step should be done manually, of course. Now, open enbseries.ini and under global change the parameter 'UseEffect=true' to 'false'.

This will disable any visual enhancements, which you don't need at this stage because we're just testing. In enblocal.ini, change 'ExpandSystemMemoryX64=false' to true, and 'ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=false' to true. Let's use the default memory values for now.

Not

Set 'AutodetectVideoMemorySize=true' to false, because it always gets it wrong. Now, attempt to start the game. The ENB message should appear in the top-left corner of the game, and once you get into the game proper there should be zero graphical change what-so-ever. That's exactly as intended. Press shift-enter to open the ENB menu. From here, this can go two ways:If it opens? Congrats, you've sucessfully installed ENBoost, and we can start working on installing your ENB preset of choice so that you can have the graphics enhancements. If it doesn't open, or you don't get the message top-left message? There is something deeply wrong with your setup and we will need to go back and clean up everything that was done wrong and re-do it the right way. That could include a complete start over, and a fresh clean reinstall of the whole game.

But that'd be a more extreme measure.Whatever happens after trying this, I'll try my best to help you every step of the way to getting this ENB installed. First off, transparency problems like the invisible terrain are caused by overlays. The steam community overlay, Overwolf, afterburner, ect. ENB doesn't play nice with those, so turn them off if you continue to have transparency problems. Now, the HUD shouldn't even be affected by ENB. You could shift-enter the ENB menu and toggle use effect to enable or disable ENB shader enhancements on the fly and test if it does anything. I also just read of a person who had a similar issue, and their solution was just to turn up the HUD transparency slider in the game options, as it somehow went to zero. What are your UI mods, if any?. First thing is go back to the wrapper version.I've always just put the.dlls in the main folder, it's never worked for me in the exe folder.

But my preset works just fine. When you load your game, if all is working correctly, you'll see two messages. The first lets you know that ENBoost is working, and is in white.

Fallout

I'm guessing that's what you're seeing. The second message is in yellow and comes afterwards. It tells you how to customize your ENB in game.

Fallout New Vegas Enb Nexus

If you see this message, it means your preset is working. If not, it's not.First thing you'll want to check is your enblocal.iniUnder GLOBAL do you see a line that says;UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=true? Also, which version of that ENB are you using?

Looks like there are 3 variants.EDIT: It looks like all 3 ENBs have option versions of the 4GB launcher. Are you using that launcer, or the standard 4GB one?The instructions say:Copy the files from the fnv4bnsve folder into your main fallout new vegas root directory. The same place we put all out ENB files. This is an older version of the FNV 4GB Launcher for NVSE that works fine with ENBseries. This version does not move the.exe files into a new folder.Only use this if you are having problems with the current and up to date 4GB launcher!I would be careful using that, and maybe consider using a different ENB.

The new 4GB loader is much better. It sounds like you've done everything right to me, this ENB and the instructions are just very strange.4GB launcher doesn't have any NVSE files, so I assumed that folder came with the preset. It doesn't, so I honestly don't know what they are referring to.What I do know for sure is that ENB series works just fine with the updated 4GB launcher, and the 4 presets I've tried are as simple as copying and pasting into the main folder and adjusting the ini file. I wouldn't personally use the old launcher, because the new one is much better.I'd recommend trying a different ENB, at least to see if you can get a preset to work. Other than that I don't think I can help.:/ The author is very active on the comments section of their ENB tho and may be able to.
